Cuban Marinated Pork

This is the marinated Pork recipe from the movie "Chef".    Lots of different flavors to entice your taste buds. 3 Different ways to cook..  Sous Vide is shown.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 tbsp Grated Orange Zest (orange Peel)
  • 3/4 cup Bood Orange juice (if you can't find Blood Orange juice, Use Fresh Squeezed)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint leaves
  • 8 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Oregano Leaves
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt& Pepper
  • about 3 lb Pork. (shoulder, Sirlion Roast or Tenderloin)
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender. For The Pork, If Sous Vide cooking, Leave whole. If Instapot or Crockpot. cut into 3 inch chucks. Marinate pork at least overnight. 48 hours is best.
  2. For Sous Vide cooking, Set water Bath to 139 and cook for 4 hours. then either put on hot grill or 450 oven to brown. You can also sear in a frying pan. Enjoy!
  3. For Instapot. add 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 Cup Marinade to pot. Cook for 45 minutes and let Naturally vent. Enjoy!
  4. For crockpot. put meat and a little marinade in crockpot and slow cook for 8 hours. Enjoy!
