Honey Ginger Shrimp

This is a tasty Oriental flavor!  You can make then with hot shrimp by themselves our with some stir-fry veggies.  Or serve with cold shrimp as an appetizer One of my favorite recipes with the Olive-A-Sudden Honey Ginger Balsamic and Sesame oil

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Raw med. Shrimp
  • Marinade for shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Rosemary infused Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh Ginger or Ginger Powder
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt and Pepper
  • Glaze
  • 2 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Chives or Scallions ( top of green onions)
  • 3/4 cup Honey-Ginger balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Seasame Oil
  • 1 tsp Grated fresh Ginger
Instructions
  1. Start by mixing Marinade ingredients together with shrimp and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. If doing cold Shrimp, Cook shrimp till done and let cool. If doing hot, wait till after glaze is finished and cook shrimp and veggies (if adding)
  3. Glaze
  4. Melt butter in small saucepan and add minced Garlic and Ginger. cook for about 3 min. on med heat.
  5. Add Honey-Ginger Balsamic to pan and while stirring constantly on med heat cook for about 6 minutes till mixture is reduced to half and starting to thicken.
  6. Have a soup bowl with ice in it and put Balsamic mixture in a small glass bowl and put in large bowl with ice.
  7. stir constantly until mixture is cool. About 5 min. Add Sesame oil and chives or Scallions.
  8. If making cold appetizer mix in Shrimp and refrigerate. if making hot, Cook your shrimp and veggies(if adding) and add sauce last 2 minutes... Enjoy!
